WINNING AGAIN

The great Ducati community gathered in order to celebrate the new motorcycles from the Borgo Panigale factory - including the brand-new 1098 Superbike, the final version of the Hypermotard and the already famous Desmosedici RR – which caused overwhelming enthusiasm at EICMA, the International Motorcycle Expo in Milan, Italy.

The luxurious EICMA congress centre hosted the first ever Ducati Global Conference, aptly titled ‘Winning Again’, on November 13st. More than 800 representatives of the Ducati universe attended the event, coming from more than 50 nations: dealers, importers, suppliers, partners, sponsors and fans of the historical Italian brand covered a grand total of over a million miles in order to take part in a one-of-a-kind event, where the passion for the Desmo was talked about in 41 different languages.

The event took place on the eve of the official opening of the International Motorcycle Expo so as to offer guests a special preview of next season’s models and reward dealers that had distinguished themselves as contributing significantly to Ducati’s worldwide success.

The conference, hosted by Ducati’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Cristiano Silei, was not only intended for the company’s dealers, but also the entire world of Ducati. Other key figures from the Borgo Panigale factory that participated in the conference included Ducati’s President and CEO, Federico Minoli, Product Development Director and Ducati Corse CEO, Claudio Domenicali and Ducati’s famous MotoGP rider, Loris Capirossi.

“The single thing I liked most of this event is that the house came down when we unveiled the new bikes,” remarked Cristiano Silei afterwards. “All our dealers, distributors, partners and fans share the same passion for winning and winning again. Everybody is now convinced that the greatness of Ducati is back for good.’’
