PK PAIN REVEALED
23 November 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

CVS REVEALS PK PAIN
CHRIS Van Straaten has admitted for the first time that he had to ''build bridges'' with his skipper Peter Karlsson last season.
Karlsson made a welcome return to the club and was voted rider of the year by over 500 fans on the club''s official website.
Now Van Straaten has revealed: ''The first time I had to release Peter from my plans didn''t go down well with him.
''It was at a time when I was coming under pressure to release him to Peterborough for the good of the sport and it was a painful experience.
''Last season was spent building bridges and we''re fine again now, he loves it here at Wolverhampton and I very much hope we can reach an agreement for his return.''
