CEO MOVES ON FROM BMF In an amicable parting of the ways, Simon Wilkinson-Blake, Chief Executive Officer of the British Motorcyclists Federation, has resigned from the BMF in order to find a position that will offer him fresh opportunities and challenges. Simon has been with the BMF for seven happy years during which time he has introduced many changes to improve the efficiency of the BMF and raise its profile as the leading motorcyclists rights organisation in Europe. The BMF acknowledges the many valuable contributions made by Simon over the past seven years and wishes him every success in his new career. Commenting, Simon said: “I’ve enjoyed my time with the BMF and I like to think we have achieved a lot together, but time waits for no man and I think the time has now come for me to seek a new challenge. I’d like to stay within the motorcycling world of course but who knows what the future may bring?” For the BMF, Chairman Anna Zee said: ''During his time with the BMF Simon has been a driving force behind many of our campaigns and lobbying successes so it is only right that his valuable input is recognised. However, the BMF will continue to fight for riders'' rights and our lobbying activities will continue with Trevor Magner and Richard Olliffe. Further, despite necessary cuts in expenditure elsewhere, the BMF Management Team has decided that the budget for campaigning will not be reduced in 2007.''
