CHALLENGE READY TO ROLL
23 November 2006 - Toyota of Stuart Bikers Challenge Ride

To benefit The ARC of Martin County

After an incredibly successful first year poker run, the ARC of Martin County (Advocates for the Rights of the Challenged) has announced February 10th, 2007 as the date for next year’s event. Geoff Oldfather is the Vice Chair of the ARC Board of Directors and Chairman of the 2007 Toyota of Stuart Bikers Challenge Ride. Sheriff Crowder is the Grand Marshall for the event. Toyota of Stuart, Red Devil Cycles, Dangerous Curves, Inc., First Peoples Bank, 94.3 Real Radio, and Wave 92.7 are the event sponsors.

The Challenge Ride attracted over 3,000 motorcycle enthusiasts last year and organizers hope for an even better turnout this time. Bikers will leave from Toyota of Stuart in Stuart, Archie’s in Fort Pierce and Iron Eagle Motorcycle Company in West Palm Beach between 9:30 and 11:45 AM. Riders will then follow an established route where they will collect poker playing cards along the designated route.

Following the event, the riders and the public are invited to celebrate the success of the poker run at Toyota of Stuart, 5101 SE Federal Highway in Stuart, with live music featuring national recording artist and rocker Bobby Friss and the Bobby Friss Band. Food, soft drinks and other refreshments will be available for purchase. There will also be motorcycle stunt performances, kids activities, community booths and displays for the attendees to enjoy.

Red Devil Cycles has donated an “Old School” Bobber style chopper built around a new V-Twin 1965 Panhead replica. The motorcycle’s custom paint job has been donated by Dangerous Curves, Inc. Custom Chopper ticket sales will be limited to 3,000. Tickets are $20 per ticket or 6 for $100.

ARC volunteers invite the public to join other bikers for this great event in support of the ARC and their efforts to fund critical programs that empower people with developmental disabilities to achieve their fullest potential.
