BIAGGI SPEAKS IN MILAN Max Biaggi is back and smiles for the hundreds of fans who call his name. Last year it was the same scene but now things have changed dramatically. Then he was without a bike for the season. Now he is set to ride a Suzuki in the Superbike series. “I’m happy to be back and it’s great to be here with my fans.” Biaggi has been testing in Valencia and set a new track record. What was it like? “I was very happy, but I know that one lap is different than the whole race'' Your fans hope you win in world championship. “Yes, but it won’t be easy because I don’t know all the tracks and I’m only just getting to know bike and tyres and its different to the MotoGP bikes. I want to do well but there are a lot of differences. I like a challenge and if everything goes well”. So far everything has gone well. “Yes. I’m very happy. So far it’s only tests and racing is different but it’s a good start even if there’s a lot of work to do.” Because under Superbike rules he will have to race two races in day. “I''ve never done it, but I’ve been training hard and will keeping doing.” Biaggi promises with a confident smile that confirms he is back to his best.
