SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES 14.10.04
14 October 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

LEIGH Adams is looking to crown a magnificent season by taking the Elite League Riders'' Championship at Poole on Sunday.

Adams has finished top of the Elite League averages after returning to his former track Swindon but he will face tough competition from top international stars Mark Loram, Mikael Max and Scott Nicholls. And home hopes rest with Ryan Sullivan, Bjarne Pedersen and Matej Ferjan in the showpiece event.

JOSH Auty is relishing the prospect of stepping up to the British Under-18 Championship at Wolverhampton on Monday. The new Under-15 champion takes his place against riders with professional experience in the eagerly awaited meeting. He said: ''I''m going to love it, walking out with all those big guns. It''s going to be a bit of fun. Edward Kennett is probably the top British Under-21 rider at the moment!''
