ITALIAN SOCCER PLAYERS GET A ‘BRUTALE ITALIA’ OF THEIR OWN
16 November 2006 - MV Augusta

The Milan motorbike show always attracts lots of visitors but two special stars are expected on Thursday when Italian soccer players Mauro Camoranesi and Marco Materazzi will be VIP guest at the MV Agusta stand at 11:00am in Hall 16.

MV Agusta president Claudio Castiglioni will give both players a special edition of the Brutale 910R for their role in helping Italy win the soccer world cup this summer in Germany.

The bike has been customised with gold logos on the blue body just like the Italian azzurro soccer jersey. Each players name is written on a special plaque fixed to each bike.

The words ‘Campioni del Mondo 2006’ is written on the fuel tank with a world cup trophy design. It is a special design created to remember Italy’s success and a limited edition of 100 bikes will be made for the fans of MV Agusta bikes.

Fellow Italian soccer player Francesco Toldo will also be at the Milan show on Thursday (Qualyline booth). The Inter goalkeeper is looking for a motorbike that suits his tall stature.
