NEW LOOK AND NEW ENGINE FOR ''LOVED'' BONNEVILLE
20 November 2006 - Triumph Motorcycles Ltd

Triumph’s popular Bonneville and Bonneville Black models gain an extra 75cc for 2007, taking the engine to 865cc, while the Bonneville’s unique looks are also enhanced by a stylish black engine finish, capped with polished covers.

Taking many cues from Triumph’s past the Bonneville and Bonnie Black have found real relevance today with both older riders who remember the original machines and a younger, contemporary customer looking for a simple, honest and useful machine that can be enjoyed to the full.

These retro inspired roadsters cleverly combine authenticity and tradition with modern technology and the updates for 2007 give these classics a fresh twist.

While the distinctive British-twin sound is unchanged the new engine delivers more mid-range torque, with 90% of peak torque available from 2,500rpm until the red line, providing smooth acceleration in any of the 5 gears. Both the Bonneville and Bonneville Black are now also fitted with a span adjustable clutch lever.

The 2007 Bonneville is available now in Jet Black, Goodwood Green and Aluminium Silver, while the Bonneville Black, as the name suggests, is available in Jet Black only with black engine covers.

Triumph’s Bonneville range can be personalised with Triumph’s contemporary Sixty8 range of accessories, which includes a variety of vibrant cosmetic parts such as tank covers, tank badges and headlight covers plus a supple, stylish laptop bag and tank mounted wallet & iPod holder.
