HONDA TO DISPLAY HAYDEN’S BIKES AT MILAN

As a true market leader Honda has a strong presence at EICMA 2006 in Milan with both staff and bikes.
Honda Motor Europe president Shigoru Takagi who confirmed the positive moment for the company by showing the RC211V on the Honda stand. Of course there is also the new Rc212V, the 800cc that world champion Nicky Hayden will use in 2007. The Honda stand also showed the new road products for 2007 including the CBR600RR 2007Y sports bike that has been completely redesigned. It has a four-cylinder engine with double electronic injection and more power thanks to a front air vent. The president of the Honda Corporation Suguru Kauazawa reminded that “Honda is the market leader in Italy for sports models” with the CBR1000RR a perfect example. It has a new styling with a HRC Repsol replica showing the colours of the official HRC team. Honda also presented the trendy Hornet model that is expected to be a huge success because of its modern design and style. Honda also presented the first ever motorbike with an airbag and a satellite navigation system.
The 2007 GL 1800 Goldwin is a real touring bike with heated seat and bars. The Honda stand is completed with the SH00i scooter range and the best selling 125/150 models.
