WATSON SHOWING SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT
15 November 2006 - AMA Pro Racing

Seven-time AMA Hillclimb Champion, David Watson, injured on Sept. 24 at the Jefferson, Penn., AMA Hillclimb event continues to show marked improvement according to family friend, Lorie DeBusk.

Watson has been transferred to the Hook Rehabilitation Hospital in Indianapolis. In an update to AMA Pro Racing, DeBusk confirmed that Watson is showing dramatic improvement. “He smiles, he follows commands, gives thumbs up and high fives and he can stand unassisted for brief times once he is in a standing position,” said DeBusk. “Everyone, including the staff at Hook Rehab Hospital, is very encouraged.”
