EDWARD Kennett plans to step up to the Elite League full-time next season after two successful years in the Premier with Rye House.

Kennett has also doubled-up with Eastbourne and Poole and will now return to the top flight on a permanent basis.

He said: ''I''ve just loved coming to Rye House, the promotion is great and without Len Silver and everyone else I wouldn''t be where I am now.''

CLEVELAND manager Jason Pipe says that running a short Conference season at Redcar was a positive exercise.

The Bays competed in the Conference Shield with all of their fixtures taking place in the last two months of the campaign.

Pipe said: ''We''ve been able to offer a chance to riders who wouldn''t otherwise have got one. It''s been great experience for our lads.''
