EASTBOURNE expect to complete a deal with teenage sensation Lewis Bridger for a second successive season at Arlington in the near future.
Contract talks have already taken place between the rider, his support team and Eagles bosses.
Eastbourne co-promoter Jon Cook said: ''Of course he will be here next season. It would be ridiculous to let him go. He is pure gold for Eastbourne and Eastbourne is very good for him.''

BIRMINGHAM Speedway fans will get their first chance to grill the new management at Perry Barr next month.
A public meeting has been arranged for Wednesday November 29 at the plush Aldridge Road venue and a massive turnout is expected.
Said boss Graham Drury: ''I was always in favour of staging it at the stadium because we want to show fans, new and old, what great facilities there are.''
