SPEEDWAY 1 EASTBOURNE expect to complete a deal with teenage sensation Lewis Bridger for a second successive season at Arlington in the near future. Contract talks have already taken place between the rider, his support team and Eagles bosses. Eastbourne co-promoter Jon Cook said: ''Of course he will be here next season. It would be ridiculous to let him go. He is pure gold for Eastbourne and Eastbourne is very good for him.'' SPEEDWAY 2 BIRMINGHAM Speedway fans will get their first chance to grill the new management at Perry Barr next month. A public meeting has been arranged for Wednesday November 29 at the plush Aldridge Road venue and a massive turnout is expected. Said boss Graham Drury: ''I was always in favour of staging it at the stadium because we want to show fans, new and old, what great facilities there are.''
