WICKED WOMENS CHOPPER WIN
01 November 2006 - Tequila Rose

Houston resident Kimberly Larson, working for local insurance underwriting company, has won a Wicked Women Chopper, a custom made motorcycle for women valued at $35K in a national sweepstakes sponsored by Tequila Rose

Tequila Rose is a strawberry flavored cream with a splash of premium tequila liqueur.

Vic Morrison, vice president of marketing for McCormick Distilling Company, the oldest continually operating distiller west of the Mississippi in the United States and producers of Tequila Rose, announced the winner from the company’s US Headquarters in Weston, MO, near Kansas City.

“My father and mother in law ride motorcycles, so it looks like I will be learning too,” Larson laughed.

The 25-year-old Houston native said she entered the contest on the Tequila Rose website, www.tequilarose.com. Larson is a graduate of Sam Houston State University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

The promotion was held in conjunction with the rollout of two new products, Tequila Rose Cocoa Cream and Tequila Rose Java Cream and in honor of McCormick’s 150th anniversary earlier this summer. A similar motorcycle will be auctioned off early next year for the Barbara Karmanos Cancer Institute, based in Detroit, which specializes in the treatment and prevention of cancers especially for women. BomShel, a country and western recording duo, are showcasing the Bike during a national concert tour this fall.

With more than 600,000 women motorcyclist in the United States, the Tequila Rose Wicked Women Choppers, made in Herrin, IL, are specifically designed to meet the style, comfort and safety requirements of women riders. The Bikes include an S&S polished 96-inch cubic engine with right side drive, six-speed transmission, a drop-seat frame, and emblazoned with Tequila Rose logo in a distinctive rose color.

McCormick Distilling Co., founded in 1856 in Weston, MO just outside Kansas City, first introduced Tequila Rose in 1995.

The McCormick product line currently includes McCormick Vodka, Tarantula Tequila, McCormick’s Irish Cream Liqueur, Wiser’s Deluxe Canadian Whisky, Polar Ice Vodka, Tequila Rose, Tequila Rose Java, Tequila Rose Cocoa, Tarantula Azul, and Tarantula RTD’s.
