BUSH ROAD RACES AGM & PRIZE PRESENTATIONS
03 November 2006 - Dungannon & District Motorcycle Club

On Tuesday 24th October the Dungannon and District MCC held their first AGM, its hard to believe, that the club is already going a year, and already have run a very successful Bush Road Races 2006 meeting back in June

Cookstown''s Mr John McKeown who chaired a very successful Bush Road Races 2006 will remain as Chairman for the 2007 races as will Mr David Campbell as Vice Chairman,Mrs Candy Morrison will be Club Secretary,and Mrs Roberta McKeown will be Race Secretary,and Raymond Irwin Tresurer just a few to mention.

On Saturday 14th October, the club held their first prize giving night in the Gables Restaurant, Despite the fact it was on the same night as the Two Stroke Supporters club presentations in Skerries, the function was well attended, with prize winners in attendance,, along with enthuasists from across the province and the IOM!.

George Mccann compered the nights presentations, and it was somewhat subdued moment when Maria Britton and son Loris, presented the Richard Britton Memorial Sheild to Kerry Lindsay.The late Darran Lindsay was winner of the aarmstrongphotos.com trophy for Best overall Club Member which was presented by Candy Morrison to Darran''s wife Kerry Lindsay.

Other prize winners in attendance included Raymond Porter, who won the man of the meeting award, which was presented by Kyle Carse and Graeme Whyte of the Ballygowan MCC supporters club.

John Burrows was the inaugrural winner of the Stephen Farmer Memorial Trophy, whilst other reward winners included Nigel Moore, Graham Wilson, Billy Lyle, plus others to mention The Dungannon & District Motorcycle Club would just like to thank all who attended on both evening''s.
