BUSINESS TO BUSINESS
25 October 2006 - Professional Motorsport Expo
KOLN, GERMANY -- 8, 9, 10 NOVEMBER 2006
As you will already know, Professional MotorSport World Expo is a new style of international motorsport event in central Europe. What sets it apart is that it is, in business parlance, a B2B event -- a trade show exclusively open to qualified visitors who are specifically involved in motorsport. Our visitors will be race licence holders; people who are running motorsport teams; engineers and race technicians; team managers and sponsors; drivers and owners of race cars but, specifically and importantly, not the general public. The show, being staged in Koln for the first time, will become an annual fixture in the motorsport calendar and we hope that your first experience as a visitor or exhibitor will be highly rewarding. Rewarding because you will have the opportunity to look slowly at the exhibits and discuss new technologies in an entirely professional environment. Whether you are at the top end of the motorsport business or running one car on a limited budget, you will find many interesting ideas, technologies and products on show. You will also find an Open Forum, which is free to attend, where a variety of technologies will be discussed and where experts will be on hand to discuss vehicle set-up, performance enhancement, logistics, transportation and many other important topics. You will also find that we have a Race Engine Summit, hosted by ''Race Engine Technology'' magazine, which is open by prior registration or by registration at the show (sorry, but there''s a fee to pay for this part). Here you will find that the theme is ''Lose to Win'' -- it''s all about frictional losses and how to improve race engine performance. There''s a bit more going on, too! On the first night (Wednesday 8 November) we''ll be staging a gala awards dinner, where we will be announcing the winners of the first Professional MotorSport World Expo Awards; these again are set to become an annual event. The categories are: :: Safety innovation of the year :: Aerodynamic breakthrough of the year :: Testing technology of the year :: Engine innovation of the year :: Chassis development of the year :: Motorsport facility of the year :: Design engineer of the year :: Team principal of the year. The dinner is open to guests by prior invitation via our exhibitors or through our VIP programme. If you have not received an invitation and would like to join the party, please go to the organiser''s office and we''ll see what can be arranged for you. Still not enough? Well, more awards will be handed out on Day Two, when the Race Engine Technology Awards sponsored by ''Race Engine Technology'' magazine are presented. That''s at 15.15 on Thursday 9 November, presented live at the show. For a full list of exhibitors, please visit: www.pmw-expo.com
