Q8 ENGINE OIL - SCOOTER CLASS
21 October 2006 - Q8 Oils
Scooter manufacturers are increasingly using 4-stroke engines, even for 50cc machines, in an effort to keep up with ever-tougher emissions controls.
Q8 Scooter Class engine oil offers owners of all 4-stroke scooters, whatever the capacity, clean and efficient lubrication an affordable price. Q8 Scooter Class oil is a very advanced, part-synthetic lubricant for the latest generation of high performance 4-stroke scooter engines, both air- and water-cooled. The synthetic component enables it to withstand higher temperatures for longer than conventional mineral oils, so it will deliver excellent protection over a wide temperature range whilst optimising engine performance. It carries the American API SJ, rating and meets European grade ACEA A3, which are considered appropriate for 4-stroke automatic scooter engines. Its 10W-40 rating means that it is designed to cope with conditions in the coldest winter and hottest summer we are likely to experience in the UK. Q8 Scooter Class engine oil is a synthetic-based engine oil (a blend of synthetic and mineral oils) that has been engineered in the Company’s extensive Research & Development facility in Rotterdam. Q8 Scooter Class engine oil is produced in the same ISO9001:2000-registered purpose-built plant at Leeds as the synthetic lubricants supplied to current British Superbike Manufacturers Champions Airwaves Ducati. Consistency of the mineral oils in the blend are assured thanks to Q8Oils access to Kuwaiti Crude, recognised as an exceptionally high quality product. Q8 Scooter Class is available in 1L bottles, with prices starting at £5.00 per litre.
