BRAKING NEWS FROM BSR
30 September 2004 - BSR Aerotek

The British winter can exact a terrible toll on motorcycles. Motorcycle engine bolts are particularly susceptible to corrosion, affecting the bike’s appearance and the owner’s ability to perform maintenance.

Performance specialists BSR-Aerotek now offer a range of British-made stainless steel disc rotor bolt kits to fit Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki & Yamaha motorcycles.

Stainless steel comes in different grades & BSR have selected A2 grade, which is well suited to use on motorcycles, as it contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Stainless steel must contain at least 10 - 12% chromium, the element that prevents “staining” (rusting) the surface. Higher levels of chromium improve the corrosion resistance of the stainless material. In terms of appearance, apart from their weight you wouldn''t know them from titanium!
BSR-Aerotek stainless disc rotor bolts retail for £3.98 each inc. VAT. Most rotors require 5-6 bolts, so the cost of a pack would be £19.90 (x5) - £23.88 (x6).

Special Introductory offer:
When purchasing an all stainless Motoflex 3 brake-line kit (that can be 2 front lines + 1 rear, or 3 front lines) and full set of front and rear British Made Stainless disc bolts, total cost will be £120 including VAT and postage, a saving of over £60 (i.e. 33%) based on a typical Suzuki. The offer applies until end October.
