SPEEDWAY 1

ELITE League winners Peterborough have responded to a challenge from Premier League King''s Lynn to take them on at their own track next Friday.

The Stars have been invincible at the Norfolk Arena so far this season and club bosses want to see how they perform against the top team in the country.

Stars co-promoter Jonathan Chapman said: ''It''s going to be a massive night with some top racing.''

SPEEDWAY 2

SCUNTHORPE have been boosted by the return of Josh Auty from injury for the Conference League title decider with Plymouth.

The talented teenager scored nine-points in the 48-44 win at Stoke on Saturday and lines up in today''s Grand Final first leg with the return in Devon next Friday.

Scorpions co-owner Rob Godfery said: ''We''re determined to win the league title in only our second season.''
