SPEEDWAY 1 WORLD Champion Jason Crump added the Elite League Riders'' Championship to his growing list of honours at Poole. Crump, representing Belle Vue, qualified for the final with a perfect 15-point maximum in a field which was of Grand Prix standard. He made no mistake in the final ahead of Eastbourne''s 2003 world champion Nicki Pedersen, Reading skipper Greg Hancock - another former world champion - and Coventry ace Scott Nicholls. SPEEDWAY 2 PREMIER League title favourites King''s Lynn have selected Rye House as their play-off semi-final opponents. They travel to Hoddesdon on October 14 with the return on October 18. Sheffield face Isle of Wight in the other semi-final with the first leg at Smallbrook on October 10 and the return in Yorkshire 48-hours later. King''s Lynn co-promoter Jonathan Chapman said: ''We''re looking forward to an exciting derby clash with Rye House.''
