WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY NEWS
27 September 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

PETER Karlsson has been ruled out of Wolverhampton''s Craven Shield meetings at Ipswich and Eastbourne this week.

And he''s also pulled out of Sunday''s Elite League Riders'' Championship as he awaits a new knee brace.

The Parrys International Wolves skipper is visiting hospital in Gothenburg today (Wednesday) to have a cast made for his leg which will make racing more comrfortable.

Team boss Peter Adams said: ''It takes time for these things to be made so we''re without PK for the next few days.

''I''m told the brace will be that beneficial, he wouldn''t even notice if he had a broken leg!

''We were waiting for a final decision on PK before looking at the next two meetings and now we have to look for a suitable guest.''
A further media update will be issued later with team news for Thursday''s trip to Ipswich.
