SEASON FINALE FOR AIRWAVES DUCATI
28 September 2006 - Airwaves Ducati
The Airwaves Ducati team are keeping their Black Mint livery, which proved so popular at Silverstone, for the 2006 British Superbike season finale at Brands Hatch this weekend.
The team first switched from their distinctive red team colours into black at Silverstone to celebrate the launch of Airwaves Black Mint flavour chewing gum. Championship contenders Leon Haslam and Gregorio Lavilla are hoping that another Black Mint menthol kick will give them the edge they need as they battle it out to win the 2006 British Superbike Championship. Airwaves Black Mint is the latest addition to the second best selling chewing gum brand in the UK. The sugar free gum delivers a unique menthol kick with an aniseed and menthol flavour for consumers who love an invigorating mouth freshening experience. To celebrate the launch of this exciting new product Wrigley’s Airwaves are giving Superbike fans the chance to win the worlds only Official Airwaves Black Mint Ducati 749 mono in this month’s edition of GQ magazine. The competition prize also includes Black Mint Merchandise signed by Airwaves Ducati riders Leon Haslam and Gregorio Lavilla and a KEF Home Cinema speaker system. As part of the GQ feature you can also get to know the team a little better as they give an exclusive insight into their preparation for a British Superbike race.
