September is another busy month for Brands Hatch.

On the 23/24 the circuit hosts the penultimate rounds of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), a meeting that promises door-to-door action as the likes of Jason Plato and Colin Turkington pull out all the stops to prevent points leader Matt Neal from becoming the first driver in nearly two decades from taking back-to-back titles.

A week later (30 September/1 October) the racing switches from four wheels to two as the Bennetts British Superbikes (BSB) ride to the wire to decide the 2006 champion. With double points up for grabs on the double-header finale, bumper crowds are expected at the Kent circuit. Leon Haslam, Gregorio Lavilla and Ryuichi Kiyonari can all claim top honours on the famous GP circuit and neither will be taking any prisoners.

As a prelude to two of the most anticipated motorsport events of the year, Brands Hatch is proud to announce a third. In an ultimate showdown of skill and stamina, a selection of the best saloon drivers in the UK will take on a trio of the finest riders in a one-lap, winner-takes- all sprint of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

On Wednesday, 13 September the BTCC will thrown down the gauntlet to a contingent of top BSB stars in a battle of two wheels versus four wheels - on three wheels! The KMX three-wheel pedal kart is part BMX, part mountain bike and part trike. The all-terrain KMX ST boasts an all aluminium frame, Derailleur gears, front and rear brakes and a low slung seating position. Both riders and drivers will be giving it 110 per cent to decide who is faster!

Tommy Hill - Lingfield-based, World Superbike wild card, Virgin Mobile Yamaha star.
Michael Rutter – Stobart Honda rider and a BSB veteran.

Dave Pinkney - leading independent from Wrotham-based team Motorbase.
Darren Turner - SEAT Sport UK driver and former McLaren Formula 1 test driver.
Tom Chilton - VX Racing driver and youngest ever BTCC race winner.
