MAGNUS Karlsson will be back in Wolverhampton''s team for the home meeting with Belle Vue on Monday - after serving a one-match club ban. Karlsson, younger brother of skipper Peter, has held further talks with Parrys International Wolves owner Chris Van Straaten after missing the recent win at Oxford due to a Swedish League fixture. The decision was an agonising one for Karlsson as it clearly left a bad taste in the mouth of his British employers. Van Straaten said: ''Magnus returns on Monday and will also be in the team at Coventry the following night. ''Beyond that I''m not prepared to say anything more on the matter at this stage.'' SKIPPER IN FITNESS FIGHT WOLVERHAMPTON skipper Peter Karlsson is having intensive treatment on a knee injury in a bid to be fit for Monday''s mouthwatering clash with Belle Vue at Monmore. Karlsson, who also suffered a hand injury in a Swedish league meeting this week, has vowed to do all he can to lead the Parrys International Wolves into action. Club owner Chris Van Straaten said: ''Peter will liase with the club on Sunday to make a final decision on whether to race on Monday. ''The knee is the main problem, he tells me his hand isn''t troubling him and we''ll just have to see what the weekend brings.'' FIXTURE UPDATE WOLVERHAMPTON Speedway can confirm the dates for several meetings to take place at Monmore Green between now and the end of the season. Following our final home Elite League match against Belle Vue on Monday, we will face Ipswich and Eastbourne in the Craven Shield semi-final on Monday, September 25. This fixture will change in the event of us surging into the top four during next week''s fixtures. On Monday, October 2 we are proud to once again be staging the British Under-18 Championship, whilst October 9 is left clear as this is the second leg of the Play-Off Final. October 16 sees the hugely popular Olympique, now in its second season of sponsorship from Banks''s, whilst on October 23 we will face local rivals Coventry in the Midland Trophy. The date for the away leg at Brandon has yet to be confirmed as the Bees may also have Knockout Cup matches to schedule in October if they reach the Final. *TEAM manager Peter Adams has confirmed that for next Monday''s home match against Belle Vue, Wolves will switch Ronnie Correy and Christian Hefenbrock in the riding order, with Correy moving to No.2 and Hefenbrock to No.3.
