SPEEDWAY 1 PETERBOROUGH will face Swindon at home next Monday, September 18, to decide who gets a home tie in the play-off semi-finals. Reading''s stunning 49-43 win at Peterborough was enough to hand them home track advantage. Peterborough boss Trevor Swales said: ''It just didn''t go our way against Reading, full credit to them, we''ll just have do our very best to get it right against Swindon next Monday.'' SPEEDWAY 2 READING team manager Jim Lynch paid tribute to his side after seeing them book a home semi-final tie in the play-offs. The Bulldogs gave a solid all-round display with Travis McGowan top scoring on 11+1 in the 49-43 win at Peterborough. Said Lynch: ''It''s great news for us to be at home in the semi-finals and I thought we were magnificent. Anything can happen in the play-offs!''
