WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY NEWS - 10TH SEPTEMBER
10 September 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

WOLVERHAMPTON will give a debut to fast-rising French star Mathieu Tresarrieu in their Elite League clash with Ipswich at Monmore on Momnday (7.30pm).

Tresarrieu is the latest addition to the Parrys International Wolves squad at the expense of Tomas Suchanek.

The Bordeaux-born rider, 20, has developed into a powerful performer with Redcar, a club also owned by Wolverhampton chief Chris Van Straaten.

He replaces Magnus Karlsson, who is suspended by the club after missing last Thursday''s win at Oxford.

And in another late change, William Lawson has been forced to pull out as he has been given late notice of a college exam in Scotland. Ben Wilson gets the call to replace him.

Wolverhampton will be looking to overhaul a 10-point deficit for the aggregate bonus point which will keep alive their slim hopes of a play-off place.

Van Straaten said: ''All the boys are in good heart after the win at Oxford and it''s a tough challenge for us to win by more than 10.

''We''ll be going for it and I fully expect an exciting night of racing.''
WOLVERHAMPTON: Peter Karlsson, Christian Hefenbrock, Ronnie Correy, Billy Hamill, Freddie Lindgren, Ben Wilson, Mathieu Tresarrieu.

IPSWICH: Piotr Protasiewicz, Kim Jansson, Robert Miskowiak, Chris Louis R/R, Mark Loram, Daniel King, Tobias Kroner.
