MOTORCYCLE FRIENDLY COWBOY BOOTS The surge in popularity of American-style custom bikes (figures from the MCI show an 18% increase in sales over last year) is creating demand for American-style riding gear too. At first glance the new 230WP boots from Prexport look like classic cowboy boots, but the Italian company has included many motorcycle-friendly features. The upper is manufactured from high-grade black leather, but with a Prexportex waterproof and breathable membrane inside that will keep the feet dry and comfortable whatever the weather. Putting on and removing the boots is made easier thanks to a full length zipper, located discreetly on the inside of the leg, with a loop to pull at the top. The synthetic soles have the traditional stack heel, but with the addition of a steel shank to reinforce the instep. Prexport have added ‘stirrup straps’ which add a stylish finishing touch to these boots that are comfortable to wear for riding or walking.
