TITLE TAKEN EARLY BY YAMAHA RIDER
07 September 2006 - Jamie Hacking

Yamaha rider Jamie Hacking recently wrapped up both the US AMA Supersport and Superstock titles on his YZF-R6 and YZF-R1 respectively, with one round left to go.

Hacking led home a Yamaha 1-2-3 in the Superstock race to win the title at Road Atlanta with a race remaining at Mid-Ohio.

Hacking tied up the Supersport title even earlier at the previous event at Virginia Raceway!

These championship victories are made all the more impressive given that many of the AMA Superbike regulars were also competing in these two classes.

Although Jamie has raced in the US all his career he was born and raised in the North of England and sports a British Bulldog paintscheme. In fact he even has two British Bulldogs as pets!
