BELLE Vue owner Tony Mole has confirmed he is in talks to sell the club.

But the Kidderminster businessman is also keen to assure Aces supporters that the club''s future is safe.

He told Speedway Star magazine: ''There is no problem over the future of the club, Belle Vue will be running next season with me in charge or with a new owner - it''s as simple as that.''

SPEEDWAY 2

ANDRE Compton has set himself a comeback target of September 14 and Sheffield''s home meeting with Mildenhall.

The Pirtek Tigers skipper has had it confirmed that he has torn ligaments in his shoulder after a crash in Sweden last week.

He said: ''The doctor told me to rest it for two weeks but I''m going for physio and aim to race next Thursday - but we''ll have to see nearer the time.''
