04 September 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association
SPEEDWAY 1) WORLD champion Jason Crump has revealed how he already has one eye on the defence of his title next season. The Belle Vue skipper is determined to win the championship for a third time. He said: ''We''re already looking at next season. We''ve got some new 2007 GM engines that we can start testing within the next couple of weeks to prepare like we did last winter.'' (SPEEDWAY 2) PLYMOUTH Devils have booked their place in the Conference League play-off final - after finishing top of the regular standings. Their 46-44 win at Boston, inspired by a full 15-point maximum from Seemond Stephens, puts them clear of their rivals. They will face Scunthorpe, Rye House or Boston in the final to decide the champions after a successful revival of the club at their new track this summer.
