CHRISTIAN Hefenbrock finished on the rostrum with an excellent third place at Satuday''s World Under-21 Final in Italy.
But there was heartbreak for his Parrys International Wolves team-mate Fredrik Lindgren, who led the field after each rider had taken their five qualifying rides.
Lindgren dropped his only point in his fourth ride to Adrian Miedzinski, but then crashed out of the Final and was therefore credited with just fourth place overall.
Karol Zabik, the Pole who walked out on Peterborough last month, became Champion with pre-meeting favourite Antonio Lindback second. Hefenbrock had scored 12 points in the qualifiers, having beaten Lindback in his first ride
