SPEEDWAY 1 KAROL Zabik became the fourth consecutive Pole to win the World Under-21 Championship when he triumphed at Terenzano, Italy on Saturday. Zabik, who walked out on Peterborough last month, won the Final ahead of pre-meeting favourite Antonio Lindback. Wolverhampton''s Christian Hefenbrock was third but his team-mate Fredrik Lindgren crashed out of the Final after heading the qualifying scores with 14 points. SPEEDWAY 2 MARK Loram expects to be able to return to Ipswich next season after a highly successful campaign on loan at Foxhall. The 2000 World Champion is owned by Eastbourne and Swindon promoter Terry Russell, who appears happy with the current arrangement. Loram said: ''I''m enjoying my speedway much more since I signed for Ipswich, and I regret not re-joining the club earlier.''
