SPEEDWAY 1 BJARNE Pedersen went through the card at Coventry on Friday - but Poole boss Neil Middleditch was left unhappy with several members of his team. Pedersen scored a full 21-point maxium, exactly half of the Pirates'' total as the Bees won 54-42 to move into the play-off zone. Middleditch said: ''I am very disappointed with how the rest of the team performed. We didn''t show any fight at any time.'' SPEEDWAY 2 TABLE-topping Peterborough went down to a heavy defeat at Arena-Essex as the League''s bottom club gave one of their best displays of the season. The Hammers were given fresh hope of avoiding the wooden spoon with a 58-38 win to move to within two points of Oxford. Arena promoter Ronnie Russell said: ''It was a brilliant all-round team performance, we just blew them away.''
