MONKEY OPTION FOR REAR CARRIER
02 September 2006 - Norman Hyde

Triumph specialist Norman Hyde has developed a classically styled rear carry rack for Hinckley-built Triumph Bonnevilles with an innovative design feature that enables owners to fit a GIVI top case.

These British-made chromed steel carriers sit neatly over the rear mudguard and fit directly into existing mounting points on the rear sub frame. They include an integral grab rail, which will be a welcome addition for pillions.

Norman Hyde has collaborated with GIVI, one of the world’s leading producers of hard luggage for motorcycles, to ensure that his new rack is compatible with the Italian company’s patented Monokey system. By fitting a GIVI adapter plate to the rack, one of Givi’s Monokey top cases can be fitted, bringing with it all the benefits of their durable, waterproof luggage. It is called Monokey because the mechanism that secures the case to the adapter plate is operated via the lock on the case itself.

The Hyde Bonneville Carrier Rack sells for £105.75 inc. VAT. Norman can supply a complete kit, including carrier rack, GIVI adapter plate and spacious 45-litre top case (sufficient to store two full face helmets) for £257.32 inc. VAT.

The recommended maximum load for the Hyde rack + GIVI top case is 5KG.
