SPEEDWAY 1

SEAN Wilson will make a rare on-track appearance this season in Matt Read''s Farewell meeting at Somerset on September 22.
The former Sheffield star will turn out along with a host of other top names in support of Read, who was seriously hurt in a crash in France two years ago.
Read said: ''Sean is still a class act and I was really delighted when he stepped forward.''

SPEEDWAY 2

BELLE Vue have agreed to return to Arena-Essex on Friday - despite being without World Champion-elect Jason Crump.
The Elite League match between the clubs was washed out on Wednesday and with possible dates running out, the promotions agreed to a swift re-staging.
It means Crump will be absent due to this weekend''s Czech GP, but Aces boss Ian Thomas has booked Purfleet specialist Chris Louis to guest.
