WOLVERHAMPTON MATCH PREVIEW - 20TH AUGUST
20 August 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

MONMORE legend Mikael Max will face his parent club when he visits Wolverhampton with Arena-Essex on Monday (7.30pm).

Max, who first rode for the Black Country side 13-years ago, suffered a serious thigh injury last July and wasn''t fit for the start of this season.

He completed a move to Essex in May and he has, slowly but surely, been rebuilding his form and confidence.

The Parrys International Wolves include Mikael''s two brothers, Peter and Magnus Karlsson. Max uses his mother''s maiden name.

He said: ''It''s not been a smooth return, but I''m starting to feel a lot better about things.''

Ben Wilson gets a rare opportunity to impress at reserve for Wolverhampton. The Sheffield youngster has been forced to play second fiddle to the impressive William Lawson in the doubling-up role this term.

A win for Wolverhampton would keep alive their hopes of coming up the rails to sneak a play-off place at the finish.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Peter Karlsson, Christian Hefenbrock, Ronnie Correy, Billy Hamill, Fredrik Lindgren, Ben Wilson, Magnus Karlsson.

ARENA-ESSEX: Leigh Lanham, Paul Hurry R/R, Steve Johnston, Mikael Max, Joonas Kylmakorpi, Henning Bager, Andreas Messing.
