WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY NEWS
06 August 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

PARRYS International Wolves must ensure that they do not become the latest victims of Oxford''s recent revival at Monmore Green on Monday.

An unblemished home record is now essential and the Cheetahs, who won at Arena-Essex by 14 points last week, are now off the bottom of the table and have plenty of track knowledge.

David Howe and Adam Skornicki, both still Wolves assets, team up in the middle order whilst David Norris, guesting for the injured Ales Dryml, is a former Monmore track record holder.

Add in the evergreen Todd Wiltshire and this could well be a tougher test than was envisaged earlier in the season.

Wolves are without American star Ronnie Correy due to a prior commitment in his home country, and the riding order changes with Fredrik Lingdren moving to No.5 as he is now second heat-leader.

If Wolves can win, they will add three points to their Elite League total as they won at Cowley in the reverse fixture last month.

WOLVES: Peter Karlsson, Christian Hefenbrock, Ronnie Correy R/R, Billy Hamill, Fredrik Lindgren, William Lawson, Magnus Karlsson.

OXFORD: Todd Wiltshire, Davey Watt, David Howe, Adam Skornicki, David Norris, Lubos Tomicek, Eric Andersson.
