SWINDON''S Adrian Miedzinski could be out for up to a month after sustaining a shoulder injury in Poland at the weekend.

Miedzinski was attempting to defend the Polish Under-21 title but will now need an operation having suffered a possible fracture to the shoulder.

He still claimed second in the event, which was won by Karol Zabik with Pawel Hlib in third place.

SPEEDWAY 2

SIMON Stead has been declared fit for Belle Vue''s important home clash with play-off rivals Ipswich - with the two sides level in the Elite League table.

Stead was a doubt for the meeting after suffering soft tissue damage to his arm in a crash in Sweden last Thursday.

The Aces have booked Newport''s Joel Parsons to guest at reserve due to the continued injury absence of Phil Morris.
