ANIMAL INSTINCT
07 August 2006 - Bike Animal

With practice for the World Superbike Championship underway at Brands Hatch, the series approaches an important milestone.

This stage in the championship is often when negotiations for next year begin and James Toseland has already made his first announcement.

The British rider has announced a new sponsor for the remainder of the 2006 season – a signal that this year is far from over yet. The youngest ever World Superbike Champion has now become the first rider ever to secure a sponsorship deal with bikeanimal.com.

The distinctive logo will appear on his Winston Ten Kate Honda leathers for the remainder of the 2006 World Superbike Championship. James is hoping that this will help to increase the profile of the motorcycle community website, which has the potential to grow into a vital online resource for all biking needs.

The announcement caps off a busy week for bikeanimal.com. The beginning of the week saw the site launch a new legal locator to help riders source their nearest bike-friendly solicitors close. This comes just weeks after a free classified section was added.

The site also has the latest race reports, an interactive biker pubs section, product reviews, motorcyclist-friendly insurance companies and rider interviews among other things. As part of his sponsorship deal, James has conducted the first interview with the website, which can be viewed online now.

He will also be speaking to bikeanimal.com after the weekend to pass on all of his latest news and gossip. Log on now to find out more.
