RETRO JACKET
05 August 2006 - Weiss

Spurred on by the success of their retro range of leather jackets, introduced last year, Weise has developed a textile version aimed at riders looking for flexible all-weather wear with plenty of attitude.

Despite its name and appearance, the Retro Classic jacket is packed with all the benefits of modern technology. The outer shell is manufactured from tough waterproof aramid fabric, which has taped and welded seams to keep out the elements. There is a waterproof flap behind the central zip with a secondary zip underneath to ensure that any rain stays on the outside.

Inside are genuine Knox CE protectors at the shoulders and elbows plus Knox CE armour fitted in the back as standard and Schoeller Reflex reflective piping runs down the backs of the sleeves. Velcro adjusters at the waist are easy to operate even with gloved hands and make this tailored garment even snugger. Inside there is a full polyester quilted lining, which can be removed on hot days allowing owners to enjoy the full benefit of the vents on the chest and extractor vents over the kidneys at the back.

Weise has a well-earned reputation for attention to detail. All zippers are authentic YKK items and those on the front pockets and vents are waterproof too. There are 6” and full 360-degree zips on the waist, which enable the jacket to be attached to Weise leather or textile pants.

The Weise Retro Classic Jacket is produced in black/stone, black/blue and black/orange in sizes XS – XXXL, priced at £119.99.
