NEW SCOOTER FROM PEUGEOT
01 August 2006 - Peugeot

Peugeot has produced a limited edition of its most popular scooters to celebrate its many victories in the World Rally Championship since 2000.

The French company withdrew from WRC at the end of 2005, following an incredibly successful period that included three successive championship victories (2000-2) and its Rally Victories series of scooters all carry unique colour schemes and graphics reminiscent of the all-conquering Peugeot WRC cars.

The Jet Force C-Tech tops the range. This advanced 50cc scooter can be ridden by anyone over 16 and is powered by a potent liquid cooled 49.9cc horizontal single cylinder engine. It is both technically advanced and highly specified by 50cc scooter standards. Its steel perimetric frame, of similar design to modern sports motorcycles, enhances handling, while the 226mm front and 190mm rear disc brakes give reassuring stopping power. Other features guaranteed to impress today’s demanding consumer are audible indicators, a dashboard equipped with rev counter, fuel gauge & clock and under seat storage, which can be opened by turning the ignition key.

Peugeot has always had a reputation for delivering style and performance at an everyday price at the JetForce C-Tech Rally Victories is no exception, at £1,899 on the road it is only £100 more than the standard model.

Also available is a Rally Victories version of the perennial Speedfight, with the proven 50cc air-cooled motor, selling for £1,699 on the road and rugged TKR with fat ‘knobbly’ off road style tyres at £1,599.
