THE TRIPLE CHALLENGE HAS ARRIVED
30 July 2006 - T3 Racing
And what a challenge it will be!
2007 will see up to thirty-eight Triumph 675’s roll onto the grid at nine of the Bemsee nationwide meetings, each one carrying the hopes and aspirations of riders committed to this adrenalin based, almost gladiatorial sport. Since the first word on the arrival of this very special Hinckley triple the press has been awash with rumours of how good this motorcycle was going to be, having received two machines which are currently being developed to campaign a season at MRO, we are pleased to say that expectation has matched reality and we have a little piece of history in the making. You now have the chance to play a small part in that history by choosing the 675 Triple Challenge Cup or the Michelins Young Guns Championship for your next season of racing. Tue Mantoni, Triumph’s Commercial Director first broached the idea of the 675 series way back in November 2005. This coincided with the spectacular review of the 675 published by Bike magazine. The general public then, and throughout numerous tests since, have had their hopes confirmed over this outstanding motorcycle. To hear terms such as “iconic” and “ a bike cast in the same mould as Honda’s RC30 in 88 or Ducati’s 916 in 92” are extremely encouraging and we hope that this wide acceptance of the Hinckley Triple will be an excellent springboard for this new series. Here at T3 Racing we have now campaigned 6 rounds of the 2006 MRO championship whilst developing this bike. We are pleased to be able to say that we have won races at our last two meetings as well as setting a new MRO lap record at Cadwell Park, if anyone needed proof that this bike is capable of winning at a prestigious level then T3 and Interserve Racing have proved that beyond doubt.
