WORLD Champion Tony Rickardsson has withdrawn from this Saturday''s Italian Grand Prix at Lonigo due to double vision.

It will be the first GP that the Swede has missed, and it leaves Greg Hancock as the only ever-present since the series begun in 1995.

Rickardsson''s place is taken by first reserve Hans Andersen, who won the last event in Denmark as a Wild Card.

EDINBURGH have signed Italian youngster Daniele Tessari who joins the club as a replacement for the axed Rusty Harrison.
