TRIUMPH BONNEVILLES RECEIVE A MODERN TWIST
25 July 2006 - Triumph Motorcycles Ltd
Triumph Motorcycles Limited has announced that, due to high demand, they will be releasing the 2007 models of their iconic Bonneville bikes a few months earlier than anticipated.
The Bonneville, Bonneville Black and Bonneville T100 form a key part of Triumph’s best selling Modern Classics range. With their distinctive twin engines and pea shooter exhausts, these bikes were favoured by legendry icons Steve McQueen and Bob Dylan, whilst their current counterparts have found resonance amongst a younger, contemporary customer. The retro inspired roadsters cleverly combine authenticity and tradition with modern technology, and the updated 2007 range has given these classics a fresh twist. The 2007 Bonneville has an increased but manageable engine size of 865cc, perfect for the new rider. The latest models now also have a black engine with polished, lacquered engine covers and a span adjustable clutch lever. The 2007 Bonneville comes in Jet Black, Goodwood Green and Aluminium Silver. The Bonneville Black will also be updated with an 865cc engine, span adjustable clutch lever and will be, as the name suggests, black on black! Finally, Triumph is leaving the engineering and urban styling of the T100 model untouched, but are re-introducing the popular T100 colour of Jet Black and Opal White with a unique, hand painted Gold Coach Line and will be continuing with the favourite Jet Black and Tornado Red with a hand painted Silver Coach Line. All of Triumph’s Bonneville range can be personalised with the exclusive Sixty8 accessories. This contemporary range includes tank covers, tank badges, headlight covers and city bags, to name a few. The whole range of Sixty8 accessories and Bonneville bikes can be viewed at www.triumphmotorcycles.com, or at the showroom of your local dealer. The on the road prices for the 2007 Bonneville Black is £4,999, the Bonneville is £5,199 and the T100 is £5,899. The bikes will be available from early July.
