NB. PLEASE NOTE FIXTURE CHANGES AT MILDENHALL ON SATURDAY SPEEDWAY 1 GREAT Britain will compete in Saturday''s World Cup Final at Reading after finishing second to Denmark in the Race-Off on Thursday. Skipper Scott Nicholls top-scored with 12 points and Lee Richardson won three races as GB finished seven points behind the Danes. Australia and Sweden complete the line-up for the Final with holders Poland and the USA eliminated from the competition. SPEEDWAY 2 BRITISH captain Scott Nicholls says the team can be optimistic of a good World Cup Final after coming through Thursday''s Race-Off. Nicholls helped repel a late charge from Poland, meaning that the reigning Champions will not defend their title on Saturday. Nicholls said: ''It was a good run-out and everyone did their bit. Qualifying for the Final was the aim and we all start with a clean slate on Saturday.''
