21 July 2006 - AMA Pro Racing

The AMA Superbike Championship presented by Parts Unlimited is enjoying growing event attendance for the third consecutive season, along with increased global television coverage.

Audiences in Australia, Canada, France, Hungary, Italy, the Middle East, Poland, the Russian Republic and the United Kingdom, 218 territories in total, now enjoy AMA Superbike Championship telecasts.

“AMA Superbike teams, riders and sponsors are enjoying unprecedented television coverage around the world both in terms of programming hours and household reach,” said John C. Farris, Jr., AMA Pro Racing’s Vice President of Commercial Development. “Our sales strategy, focused on maximizing distribution and exposure for the series, has delivered strong results. AMA Superbike, in addition to domestic distribution to approximately 70 million North American households through SPEED, can now be seen in more than 60 million households outside of North America, bringing total household coverage for the AMA Superbike Championship to more than 130 million homes worldwide”.
