SPEEDWAY UPDATE - 18TH JULY
18 July 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association
SPEEDWAY 1 PETER Adams insists Wolverhampton''s season is still very much alive - despite a low league position. The Monmore boss is refusing to give up hope of a top four finish and a place in the end of season play-offs. ''It''s my job to make the riders understand how vital the rest of the season is to us,'' said Adams. ''They''ll read a league table and think it''s all over, but it''s not.'' SPEEDWAY 2 RICHARD Hall will make a guest appearance for Mildenhall in their Premier League derby clash at King''s Lynn on Wednesday. The Peterborough man covers for Jon Armstrong and Ben Powell comes in at reserve. Mildenhall chief Mick Horton said: ''Ben comes in as a guest on Wednesday but I hope to strike a deal with Len Silver at Rye House and use him in as many meetings as possible for us.''
