GREAT Britain skipper Scott Nicholls says his team will be prepared for all eventualities as the World Cup gets underway on Sunday.

The winners from the first event in Poland go straight to the Reading-staged Final, with the hosts starting as favourites.

Nicholls said: ''We are going to Poland to give it our best shot to win, but if we have to go into the Race-Off then so be it.''

POOLE star Krzysztof Kasprzak will make his long-awaited return from injury when the Pirates stage a Young Guns event on Wednesday.

The Pole has been out for nine weeks after a run of wretched luck during which time he has broken his collarbone three times.
