WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY TEAM NEWS UPDATE
13 July 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

WOLVERHAMPTON have called up King''s Lynn''s Troy Batchelor to replace Ronnie Correy at Ipswich tonight.

The young Australian scored 12 at Foxhall when guesting for Arena-Essex recently, although those points were eventually removed as he was ineligible to appear at reserve for the Hammers.

Batchelor is a Coventry squad member and so can only guest in the top five for another Elite League club, and he comes in with Wolves missing both Correy and Christian Hefenbrock.

Hefenbrock is still struggling with neck ligament damage after his crash at Monmore Green on Monday, whilst Correy suffered a heavy knock when he hit the fallen Ales Dryml at Oxford last night.

With Wolves'' various doubling-up and squad riders unavailable, Stoke''s Barrie Evans gets his chance in the top League at reserve.

IPSWICH: Piotr Protasiewicz, Kim Jansson, Robert Miksowiak, Chris Louis, Mark Loram, Daniel King, Tobias Kroner.

WOLVES: Peter Karlsson, R/R for Christian Hefenbrock, Troy Batchelor, Fredrik Lindgren, Billy Hamill, Barrie Evans, Magnus Karlsson.
