PREXPORT VIPER JACKET The outer shell is constructed from modern textile fabrics, with a waterproof and breathable X-Prex membrane to keep out the weather and the outer pockets that are resistant to water too. CE approved armour is fitted in the shoulders and elbows/forearms and there is also provision for a back protector. Reflective panels have been incorporated above the elbows and at the waist for extra visibility in poor conditions. When the going gets hot the quilted inner jacket may be removed and when it gets hotter still, the vent zippers on the chest can be unzipped to let cool air circulate. When the temperature is really high, the sleeves can be detached via zips and press-studs. Prexport have paid great attention to this aspect of the Viper jacket, with a padded textile ‘cushion’ beneath the zip to prevent water ingress and the danger of the zipper coming into contact with the body beneath in the event of an accident. A full-length zip is fitted around the waist so that the jacket may be connected to matching trousers.
