SPEEDWAY 1 STOKE promoter Dave Tattum has issued a more positive bulletin on Luke Priest, who was seriously injured last week. Tattum reported: ''His father said that Luke has had a drink of tea through a straw and has eaten a little bit of rice pudding. ''There is still a very long way to go but everyone will be pleased to hear that there is the slightest bit of improvement.'' SPEEDWAY 2 HOSTS Workington will definitely face a challenge from Sheffield, Rye House and King''s Lynn in the Premier League Fours next month. The BSPA have confirmed the first four qualifiers for the event at Derwent Park, with the other four to be announced soon. Comets promoter Graham Drury said: ''It''s promising to be a sensational meeting and I know Somerset are hoping to be involved so they can defend their trophy.''
